Rough Draft Commentary

The progression of clouds or weather in general is a lot like the progression of our country’s politics. The political environment in which we live is constantly changing or at least has the opportunity to do so. How often would you say you actually observe the clouds? Do you spend time looking up? In the same way we choose not to pay attention to our environment physically, many of us choose to pay no real attention to political affairs. Why is this?
Could it be that it takes too much time? It does take time to decipher the good from evil; A beautiful sky from dangerous warning signs.
Many times, ignoring the signs and not participating is a choice. This is not a discovery or explanation why people choose this path, although we will continue to ask this question. This is just a mere look at how it is human nature to voluntarily become detached even when we can make all the difference.
