Response to Student Life in Exam Hall Breakdown-Another Story

00:20-- Are we to assume that he is not concerned with vanity by not using a mirror to groom himself? I'm not sure myself, as he does take the time to do it in the first place.

Because he is the first person introduced to us in a video in an exam hall, it makes me immediately question who, or rather what he is. Sure, he has a pink backpack and some sweet sunglasses, but what about that badge he drapes around his neck?

I moonlight as a proctor, and we have to wear badges identifying ourselves and our departments, so I'm thinking he's a proctor late for work right now. Been there, man.

00:55-- Oh. Okay. He's a student now? Why is he the only one with a badge? Now I'm thinking that he's sitting up in those uncomfortable seats with the students as a ploy to catch and note people in the act. I'm on to this proctor in disguise.

1:13-1:17-- The way the camera is trying to adjust its white balance back from being zoomed makes it look like we just undergone a time shift to a place where cheating on tests is normal and not cheating is the aberrant.

1:28-- The money trick is a new one to me too. I'm now convinced that this classroom is some kind of cheating mill; they're testing out new techniques: where cheating is the norm, and to blow the whistle is to receive punishment. That's why our hero is undercover.

2:40-- That's why they're cheating. In a educational system that rewards standardized test scores, they need to score well in order to receive grant money for renovations.

6:14-- And everyone's into it.

7:01-7:24-- He was caught for not cheating well enough! And is thus scolded, but allowed to continue under the condition that he tries to cheat harder next time.

8:09-8:26-- Here our lead the day before the test, conflicted about the orders he's reviewing, knowing he doesn't want to punish the victim of an unfair system. He watches Bollywood videos online to numb the pain much like an alcoholic turns to liquor.

8:28-- Then this music starts playing for some reason.
